Silk Painting at ISS March 2014

Article text
In March (4,11 and 18) during their Art classes the 5th grade students of International School of Stavanger had the chance to express themselves with silk painting.
After a short introduction and some practical instructions by a passionate teacher(me!) the children painted suncatchers and 3 large pieces, one for class, as a group projects.
They worked with their teacher Zsuzsi Kallenberg on trees observation because we were going to paint trees. We like to build a silk painted wood to hang probably in the library for a book corner, the idea is to read in a peaceful magical forest...will see. Now we have an oak, a...and a maple tree . Under the tree there are fantastic mushrooms never seen in the nature and unique like their own creators!
That was fun!
